The governing body of the Uttar Pradesh State Board has designed the Class 12 Physics syllabus to enhance the knowledge and skills of the students. The academic heads of the UP board follow the NCERT books while selecting chapters and topics. The 12th Standard Physics Syllabus conveys a blend of the basic and advanced concepts of Physics. Students are encouraged to grow a practical approach towards the subjects.
Class 12 is a crucial phase in a student's life, after the higher secondary examination, the students cross the threshold of schools and step into different colleges. The new syllabus is shorter in comparison to the older syllabus pattern.
The UP board has reduced the syllabus for the examination for the academic year of 2020-21 due to the pandemic. Given below is the detailed course structure for the UP Physics class 12 syllabus:
Magnetic Effects of Current & Magnetism:
Electromagnetic Induction & Alternating Currents:
Rigid Body & System of Particles Motion:
Dual Nature of Radiation and Matter:

An idea of the syllabus beforehand helps the class 12 students to be prepared for their final examination. A well-planned study routine based on the syllabus enables the students to invest the required time for each chapter.
